NEW! Guided Group Tour of Ireland with Emerald Isle Tour!

Three 2022 dates to choose from!

Introduction:

Over the last 13 years, we’ve professionally organized bespoke private tours throughout Ireland that were chauffeured, self drive and a combination of both as well as fool proof itineraries for those that want every second to count, even if those seconds become hours on the beach! Well, this year, we’ve combined our years of experience (personal & professional) with our client favorites over the years and designed a group tour that’s sure to make dreams come true! :) Now is your chance to see (experience) them with me on an intimate, fun and personally guided tour of Ireland.

Covid Update and entry requirements:

As of 19th July, 2021, International visitors will be welcome into Ireland provided they can show proof of once having Covid, having a negative p.c.r. taken within 24 hrs of departure, or proof of being vaccinated. You may also need a negative p.c.r. to return home but that can easily be arranged for you! :) All tour operators and hospitality providers have had to undergo a Covid Safety Charter qualification so rest assured, you will be in safe hands and well taken care of.

About EIT’s Guided Group Tours of Ireland:

Each of our Guided Group Tours will be small, (18 - 20 guests max) which will make them Covid safer and also allow flexibility to make them more special for each of you! Our tours will begin and end in Dublin, our capitol city, touring all of Ireland. As it’s just not possible to ‘do Ireland’ in less then 2 weeks, they will all last 15 days with 2 free days in Dublin at the beginning of your visit and 1 free day mid tour to absorb the sights and sounds of the first leg. You’ll be privately chauffeured from Dublin airport to your hotel upon arrival and given a complimentary 2 day Dublin City Bus Pass for independent sightseeing at your leisure. Accommodations, airport transfer and bus passes will be included in your tour package. You’ll be well looked after! :) We’ll meet you in the lobby of your hotel the morning of the 3rd day and begin our journey through our small but mighty island. We’ll include most of the major attractions with loads of hidden gems that you’d never see on a standard tour as well as some of Ireland’s magical landscape and.. we’ll do this in a nice, relaxed pace!

Accommodations and Food:

2 nights at Lough Eske Castle, Donegal.

We’ve taken great care in choosing some of the best hotels, manor houses and even a castle throughout our journey around Ireland to ensure your comfort & contentment. Where only the best will do! :) Dinner will be included at the hotels on most nights giving us the opportunity to enjoy some of Ireland’s finest gastro pubs and other fine restaurants on the other evenings or perhaps in Dublin or Galway on your independent (rest) day.

You’ll be sleeping in luxurious rooms with private bathrooms. A full breakfast is included each morning although you may opt for a continental if so desired. We will be stopping often at rest stops, cakes and coffee or tea and/or a light lunch whenever the notion strikes… let us know at time of booking if you have any special dietary requirements and they will be well catered for.

Sightseeing and Entertainment:

Our Guided Group Tour will be luxurious, leisurely and … fun! There will be no rushing from A to B and no red umbrella or flag to follow! And with the flexibility of a small group, we’ll have loads of shopping opportunities and will always be more then happy to stop for photographs etc … I like to do this myself! :)

Trim Castle, County Meath

We’ll be touring in a luxury coach with air conditioning, free WiFi, bottled water and umbrellas for the odd drop of rain! We’ll not be traveling more then an hour at any given time and when I need to catch my breath from telling you about Irish history, legends and folklore, you’ll have Irish music for your easy listening pleasure!

Giant’s Causeway, County Antrim, NI

Grianan of Aileach, County Donegal

Slieve League, County Donegal

Kylemore Abbey, Connemara

Slea Head Drive, County Kerry

Rock of Cashel, County Tipperary

Kilkenny Castle, County Kilkenny

After you’ve spent 2 days independently exploring Dublin, we’ll begin our journey through Ireland the morning of the 3rd day. We’ll meet you in the lobby of your hotel and make our first stop in the Royal county of Meath where we’ll see it’s namesake, the Hill of Tara followed by Trim Castle and New Grange (Bru na Boine) before crossing the border and stopping in Belfast, Northern Ireland’s capitol city. Here we’ll visit the Titanic Museum and Belfast Castle before traveling along the Antrim coast to Giant’s Causeway and down to Derry (Londonderry). From here we’ll cross the border into the often bypassed county, Donegal, named the ‘forgotten county’ however, once you’ve been there, you’ll never forget it! Here, we’ll see Grianan of Aileach, Glenveagh Castle, Slieve League, Glencolmcille and ..loads of hidden gems! I must warn you tho.. Donegal has a reputation of putting a spell on most who visit! :). Next, we’ll make our way down the Wild Atlantic Way to Westport before we see the stunning Kylemore Abbey and into Connemara where we’ll see a sheep dog in action, try our hand at spinning wool and tour the factory where they process the oldest (and rarest) marble in the world. From here, we’ll carry onto Galway, the city of tribes for 2 nights. Here you’ll have another day to independently explore the 3rd largest city in Ireland, shop, listen (and toe tap) to street musicians and enjoy Trad on the Prom in the evening, only the best Irish music and dance show in Ireland (tickets included). Once we’ve caught our breath and processed what we’ve seen, we’ll continue south along the Wild Atlantic Way into the karst limestone region of the Burren to Doolin and the majestic Cliffs of Moher. Next, we’ll carry on further South to Killarney for another 2 nights by way of Dingle where there’s more shops, crystal and the breathtaking Slea Head Drive. While in Killarney, you’ll have the option of doing the Ring of Kerry (with EIT’s special touch) or touring Ross Castle followed by a boat trip on the Lakes of Killarney and jaunting car through the Gap of Dunloe to Kitty Kelly’s where we’ll collect you. This is a day that we could also organize a special excursion for the angler or golfer in the group or .. any other special interest available in the area :). From here, we’ll make our way down to the charming (and colorful) seaside village of Kinsale via the Beara Peninsula in West Cork and Drombeg stone circle. Kinsale is full of quaint craft shops, galleries and bookshops and… as Kinsale is known for it cuisine, it’s also full of cafes and restaurants! Next, we’ll sample a drop during an Irish Whiskey Tasting directly after a private tour of the Jameson Distillery in Middleton followed by a drive through the ever spell bounding landscape to the iconic (and imposing) Rock of Cashel before settling in to relax at the Mount Juliet Estate. En route back to Dublin for our final evening, we’ll take a tour of Kilkenny Castle and Craft Centre with a final stop at Glendalough before bidding you a safe journey back home with a parting gift at one of Dublin’s finest airport hotels. You’ll be well rested for your departing flight the following day. Now that you know some of the highlights of our Guided Group Tour of Ireland…imagine all the many hidden gems we’ll delight you with! :) If you’re still undecided and would like a much more detailed itinerary, fill in the form on the right and we will gladly forward one onto you!
