Costs and Payment Process:


Enquire - free of charge


Secure your dates / our services - Submit a non-refundable, non-expiring (and transferable) deposit to secure your intended dates and our services. Once your deposit has been received, your date(s) are secured and we'll begin designing your custom itinerary. We happily make as many modifications necessary as per your review / approval with final draft provided once your tour is satisfactory.

In order to secure your intended dates and our services, we require a minimal deposit as outlined per service. The remaining balance may be paid at your leisure with final payment due as per invoice once deposit has been received. All prices are quoted in Euro and payment is to be made in Euro. Payment can be made by bank draft, wire transfer or by using any major credit card through our secure payment processing. Upon booking and payment of initial deposit, you have agreed to the Terms and Conditions which apply.


Full Payment less deposit:

Multi Day Tour - After your dates & our services are secured with our required deposit, invoice will reflect remaining balance due 45 days prior to first secured date.

Day Tours & Fool Proof Itineraries - 2 weeks prior to first secured date.

Small Group Tours - 8 weeks prior to arrival.

In the case of non payment by your specified due date, your tour and all reservations will be automatically canceled accordingly.

Deposits on all tours will be refunded if your secured date needs to be canceled or postponed due to Covid.


**Because of payments being staggered your bank will process your payment amount based on the current exchange rate ie: euro vs your local currency.

Cancellations:

In the event of cancellation of any part of your tour, communication must be provided by email followed by our receipt confirmation. In addition, with our escorted or self drive tours, cancellation must be provided one month in advance to the commencement of your scheduled tour for a 75% refund of any prepaid amount excluding initial deposit and 50% refund on any payments thereafter. (please see above “Secure your dates / our services” for details regarding our initial deposit), after 30 days prior to arrival, no refund will be given. With our day tours, same applies with cancellation required 7 days prior to commencement.

Cancellation due to Covid restrictions: Same applies although there will be no additional fee to ‘postpone’ your intended dates.

In the case of travel restrictions, your initial deposit has no expiration and will be secure for when you’re able to reschedule with your intended dates guaranteed.

In the case of your scheduled arrival date being interrupted due to your testing positive for Covid, your deposit and any fees paid, less non refundable expenses incurred, will be refunded.

In addition, please know you’re also welcome to transfer your deposit if need be. Your deposit is secure.

Refunds:

Any money owed by Emerald Isle Tour to clients because of a refund, will be processed within 60 days following the initial cancellation. Refunds will be processed according to the cancellation terms outlined above.

Change requests:

We will try to accommodate all reasonable changes requested. Any change required after the final payment will be subject to a 25 euro administrative charge. Change requests can be arranged up to 2 weeks prior to the commencement of your tour. After such time, changes may only be made with the written permission of Emerald Isle Tour.

Transportation:

Our vehicles are insured to International standards.
Although highly unlikely, in the event of a vehicle breakdown, no refund will be applied for the time lost. We will do everything in our power to ensure this does not happen. Our vehicles are maintained to the highest standard and national annual car testing requirements.
Passengers may incur valet charges of 100 euro for costs relating to soiling within the vehicle beyond normal use.

Travel Insurance:

We suggest all of our guests arrange for travel insurance prior to arriving in Ireland. We are not responsible for loss, damage or theft of personal belongings and equipment, personal injury and illness. Travel Insurance can be obtained through our website using the link provided under the 'Helpful Links' section as an option.

Stipulations:

Emerald Isle Tour contracts with independent contractors in securing and booking the services provided in our tours and we are not responsible for any negligence and/or omissions of these independent contractors, their employees, agents, servants or representatives.
Emerald Isle Tour gives notice that in issuing coupons, vouchers or tickets for travel conveyance or transport by any means, and in making arrangements for golf, hotels or other accommodations, we are acting not as principals but as agents only for the companies, corporations or persons providing or offering their service.
Emerald Isle Tour is not responsible or liable, with respect to person or property, for any loss, damage, injury, accident, delay or irregularity however sustained or suffered during any trip or tour arranged by them.
Flight and other travel arrangements prior to commencement of the tour are the responsibility of the client and are subject to the terms and conditions of the carrier.
