Mysteries of Inishowen

This is a full day tour of Inishowen, a peninsula in the North West of County Donegal and also the largest peninsula in Ireland. It's here you'll find many historical monuments dating back to early settlements including stone circles, castle ruins and the fort at Grianán Aileach where we'll begin the day. This tour is packed with history as well as culture and one not to be missed! As with all of our tours, it's private therefore alterations may be made to suit your interests and your schedule.

We'll see St. Mura's Cross in Fahan, O'Dougherty's Keep & Doagh Famine Center as well as the military Fort Dunree where we'll take a guided tour of their visitors center. We'll take many scenic drives where you'll never see a tour bus and we'll stand on the most northern point of Ireland, Malin Head followed by a coastal drive through Quigley's Point.
